Dixie Harps
This was Freddie's first Steel Band in Trinidad. There were 12-14 players in the group and they played regular gigs at The Pepper Pot, The American Base several times and The Airport Hotel as well as other top places in Trinidad.
Silver Steel Combo
This was Freddie's second band that consisted of 8-10 players and incorporated not only Steel pans but also acoustic drums, electric guitar, bass and conga drums. As well as many gigs and TV appearances, Silver Steel Combo won a competition at The Steel Band Music Festival judged by Leo Sayer for the best arranged test piece of music.
